All kids should have chances to leave their classrooms. To see the world, and to learn from it.
We fund field trips through Expedition Grants for K-12 students in communities that need them most. We cover the costs that keep classes stuck inside.
What we do
An Expedition Grant covers the two main things that keep a class home.
We pay the ride
Transportation is the single biggest reason a trip never happens.
We cover admission
The museum, farm, or theater, free for every student on the trip.
We bring the shirts
And a little extra: every Expedition comes with shirts for the kids, because a field trip should feel like an event.
Why it matters
A randomized study found that one museum field trip raised students' critical thinking, empathy, and tolerance. Disadvantaged students gained two to three times more.

Teach at a school that could use a hand?
If your students could use an Expedition and the budget is not there, tell us about your class. We would love to help you get them out the door.
Send a kid somewhere new.
Your gift puts boots on a bus and gets a classroom out into the world. That is the whole idea.
